What is system of units

There are various systems of units. Some of these are as follows

SI system of units:-

• The SI system of units is the International system of unit

MKS system of units:-

• The MKS system or Meter - kilogram - second system of units is a physical system of units that expresses any given measurement using base units of the meter, kilogram, and /or second (MKS).

CGS system of units:-

• The  CGS system or centimeter–gram–second system of units is a variant of the metric a system based on the centimeter as the unit of length, the gram as the unit of mass, and the second as the unit of time.

FPS system of units:-

• The FPS system or foot-pound– the second system  is a system of units built on three fundamental units: the foot for length, the pound for either mass or force (see below), and the second for time
